The process involved designing a strategy to target all areas of the application criteria that showcased how technology enhanced the lives of the students, staff and our community as well as planning and delivering specific training, case studies, documenting our culture of continuous reflection and creating an engaging and interactive application.
I designed and delivered a training plan so all teaching staff gained the Apple Teacher Accreditation to ensure they had a significant level of expertise to use their Apple products on a daily basis, both to enhance the learning provision and to support their own daily organisation and workload.

Part of the responsibility of being an Apple Distinguished School is to help inspire and support other school leaders wishing to go on a similar journey with technology and learning in their settings. As a result, I have hosted numerous visits from school leaders in the state and independent sectors, including those overseas from as far as Brazil!
Through this role, we were also lucky enough to be selected for a visit from Susan Prescott, Apple's Vice President of Worldwide Developer Relations, to see the innovation taking place. We didn't miss the opportunity to interview her on our radio podcast!
